What happens in no man's lands is a subject of dreams and fantasies. In the installation, visitors walk down dark staircases leading to a former, underground archive's room. they may perceive noises, whispers, muted voices, coming from below... But stairs ultimately lead to an empty, dark corridor, opening to (images of) other corridors / passages. Vistors came too late, the no man"s land is empty again. Did wanderers leave through those passages?

Wanderers can sometimes, at night be seen in the woods opposite the old archives room - but even then, they remain mostly hidden behind the trees, the desire to watch will remain unsatisfied.
